Mark Albert has been a transactional attorney for over 17 years,specializing in venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitionsand initial public offerings. Throughout his career, he hasrepresented over 150 emerging growth companies, assisting them inraising funds in excess of $1 billion in capital. Mark has alsosuccessfully completed over 100 acquisition/sales transactions rangingin size from $1 million to over $1 billion. Mark's primary areas ofexpertise include: internet, software, entertainment, semiconductors,hardware and energy. He is especially experienced in representinguniversity spin-outs. Mark is currently an active participant inBerkeley's V-Lab and frequently speaks on the commercialization ofuniversity-sponsored technology.

Mark earned his law degree from the University of IllinoisCollege of Law in 89', magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and hisbusiness degree in accounting from the same university in '86,graduating with High Honors. Mark passed the Certified PublicAccounting exam in 1986.
