From the WGBH Forum Network: "Terry Belanger and Michael Gorman discuss libraries and the organization of knowledge from historical and contemporary perspectives. This series examines a number of issues that have long confronted the library world, and which hold implications for libraries for the future. Each program features two distinguished speakers, one of whom offers a historical perspective on the issue as it affected libraries (such as the Boston Athenaeum) during the 19th century; the second speaker addresses the issue from a contemporary vantage point."
